Description As an afternoon thunderstorm was steadily heading our way, we got to see more Elephants! This time females with young juveniles. A couple of the adults were play-fighting and the young ones stayed close to their mothers. The whole landscape was just so picturesque, I couldn't keep my finger of the camera shudder.

What do elephants do when it thunderstorms? Do they be like "Ahh it's just a bit of rain?"

Actually, they just tolerate it by going on with their day. Some retreat to groves of trees, while others go swimming in bodies of water.
Most of the time though in Africa, thunderstorms consist mainly of 2 or 3 thunderclaps and a ton of rain. So it's basically just a down pour.
Where we live, the thunderstorms are more severe probably because of our location and more moisture in the air.
