I made this picture in my Concepts of Design class in the art program at Beal Secondary.
My teacher, Mrs Davy (most amazing teacher ever) challenged me to draw something "out of focus" in colors that would make the viewer focus on what was really there...
I hope I pulled it off. It's a very close up shot of a Zebra's face, using a reference image from one of our books in the Art Department library.

The teachers at Beal have really been pressing me to expand my field of art, if you will call it that. I've been doing much more than just horses! I am very excited at some of the pieces that are still in progress. Some of them I can take pictures of, like my clay horse (which is undergoing the final firing process) and my sculpture of a butterfly.

I put about 3+ hours into this particular picture, and I used prismacolors from my art kit! (yes, I FINALLY got prisma's!)<3

I hope you guys like it! I am so freaking glad to be back on here!
