Description Delmore exercising one of his Equus Balators Caelestis Austrum  (aka Star) on the beach after the flood waters have cleared. The logs on the beach are slowly being cleared away to use as: new fencing material, jumps, going towards the house and barn extensions, and into dry storage for firewood.
(Man this sketch has been sitting in my books for months now!)

Tasmania has, over the last week, been experiencing severe flooding with over 200mm of rain overnight in some areas. This has also resulted in many logs and other strange items (including yhats, bouys, ropes, fences, shipping containers, vegetables, and cows) washing up on the beaches. Which while they make for entertaining scavenging/beach combing also make the beaches dangerous and have cost communities thousands of dollars. The entire town closest to where I live was underwater, all shops on the main street flooded and all but 1 bridge along one of the major river systems washed away or broken and left irreparable by the floodwater.

Thank you!
Yeah its been quite scary. I had a few friends trapped in their houses or on their properties because of the floods. Thankfully my house in up on a hill so while the bottom paddocks flooded we didn't lose any stock or have much in the way of damage.
The clean up has started as the floods have started to recede so hopefully everything will be able to be repaired or replaced.

You are most welcome!
I am glad to hear that you all are okay! I hope the floods stay away and the damage can all be fixed.

I really want to try this. Like I vaguely feel like Bow might be willing to give it a go.... but I also don't want to die XD
I keep seeing those videos of people on surf boards being towed through flooded paddocks or irrigation ditches and I really want to try. I mean it combines two awesome things, horses and surfing/skiing
