I haven't seen the animated series yet, but she is a Green Lantern robot, right? Not as in a robot with a ring, but a robot who IS a ring?

Yeah, something like that.
To be fair, as much as people seem to love the show online, I wasn't able to get much into it. The animation was way too stiff for me and the visuals looked pretty sub-par compared to, say, Clone Wars. I only really liked the chara design from Bruce Timm.
As far as I know she's like a living Lantern-robot-thingie.

Ah, robot women. One minute they're sacrificing their life for someone out of love, the next they're riding on top of the corpse of a giant, robotic space god plotting to destroy the universe.
But that's life I guess (or death, in the Anti-Monitor's case).
