Description The name's Pants. Pricklepants. Shh!

So I had this idea to do this as an artpiece initially after learning Mr Dalton was voicing the thespian hedgehog. But then I got kinda lazy and did an avatar [link] with Eve instead in time for the movie (There's not many screenshots with Jessie's back to the camera!). Then I thought, why not do a submission for Pixar Planet's Toy Story 3 contest?

Needless to say, I left it to the last minute (as I usually do with things) and I whipped this up in 3 hours without breaks. It's now two in the morning, and I'm wasted, but at least I got it on the deadline...

Oh, and to keep it family-friendly (or as Woody would say, because "there's preschool toys present"), I substituted the guns from the original poster [link] with a finger-pistol and a script book. Yeeaaahhh... anyway I hope you like it. xD

That is clever! I'm a James Bond fan (especially Timothy Dalton) and The Living Daylights is certainly one of my favorite Bond films ever. The Living DayCARE!

Haha, thanks for your comment! Coincidentally, Licence To Kill is one of my favourite Bond films and theme songs, despite what the critics say. He's one of the underappreciated Bonds and second only to Connery in my books. I've read a few of the Bond short stories and Dalton's the closest to Fleming's vision before Craig came along.

Good drawing! I personally never though guns automatically make something un-family friendly, (maybe it comes from growing up on old Loony Toons) but the lack of guns does work in the character of the movies so I still like the idea. Nice job!

I personally don't mind weapons in cartoons either (I love Darkwing Duck cos' he carries a sidearm! xD), but yeah, I'm submitting this for a Pixar Planet contest, so gotta keep it PC!

Besides, I don't think Buzz, Woody or Jess used guns (though I think Etch-and-Sketch drew a revolver in the first movie)!

Thanks for the comments!

The Incredibles had people holding guns.

No, they never did. Hence why I still thought axing them was a good idea. It keeps them in character. Although Buzz does in a way have a laser...
And yes, Etch did draw a Revolver.
Woody: Hey Etch... DRAW! ... AH! GOT ME AGAIN!

Hey Driveintheatre, I didn't know you were on Deviantart! (I'm Within A Nutshell on Pixarplanet). This is great, and I like how you replaced the gun with the MacBeth book.

Also, points for this quote: "The name's Pants. Pricklepants. Shh!"

Oh, I'm on Youtube and Fanfiction too. I'm all over the Internet!

Could you give points on dA? Or were you just metaphorically speaking?

Thanks for the compliments!

Yeah, I started at 10:30 pm after primetime telly was over and finished around 1:30, then had to scan, colour-grade (cos' my scanner stinks!), change dimensions and output to correct file format, so I uploaded it around 3 in the morning. Thanks!
