Description Lurhounds are a very popular breed of canine due to their strength as well as their loyalty to their owners. These dogs grow to be about the size of a horse, excluding their horns. Lurhounds have these large armor-like plates that grow all across their bodies that are used for protection. The plates come in all sorts of different colors and textures, very similar to a scarab beetles exoskeleton. They also come in different shapes and horns and pincers, depending on the breed of Lurhound. They use their horns for attracting mates, fighting competitors for a mate, and for just playing with other Lurhounds. When two Lurhounds are playing it can look violent and scary, but that's their way of having fun or establishing dominance. With that thick armor they almost never get serious injuries. Although these canines look very aggressive, they can also be very gentle and loyal. It's not uncommon for a Lurhound to protect its human family from danger, they're even great with young children. They are also great for catching criminals and rescuing people. These courageous dogs can take down a armed criminal with ease. Even a car is no match, these creatures can lift up a decent sized car with their great horns and strong pincers. Whether it's for stopping crime, saving people from natural disasters, fighting in wars, or just simply a family pet, these canines will always be loved and respected.

How many horns does a lurhound get?

Depends, some breeds get different numbers. For example, the one on the left has just one large horn, whereas the one on the right has one on the top of his head and below it. I was really inspired by different breeds of rhinoceros beetles, how they come in so many different shapes and colors.
