Description Hah. What kind of dork draws FAN ART for a movie she hasn't even seen yet?

I guess that'd be me.

I spent all of Calculus trying to get these three men's likenesses down. It kills me, they make such great characters.

Somebody told me today:
"You're bound to be dissapointed if you're THIS excited for a movie."

I love this movie. It really says something about our relationships with our family and how we often get too distant from one another nowadays.

Anyways, your work on this piece is fantastic. It gives the characters a sort of new feel, and I'm favoriting this.

I'm going to pick this one to ogle, not just because it's your feature (though, my dear, I will not lie--that does help) but also because it is one of my favorite films and favorite directors. Onto the main shpiel--
Fantastic coloring and the way you've captured the characters is quite superb.
The dusty tones, as someone else has noted, really do go well with the tones of the film (but not copying, since the film had a much brighter palette).

I guess thats enough. You're good, man. Good stuff.

Haha! I was really excited for this movie before it came out too, and for the exact same reason! And for the first time in a while I went into a theatre with high expectations and WASN'T DISSAPOINTED!!! Great pic, they all look so cute!!

I saw the film twice. the first time was a bit disappointed cause I still had in my mind the geniality of the life acquatic. the second watch I thought it wasn't that bad. I love the beggining with the song of the kinks and bill murray loosing the train.

I wouldn't let myself be disappointed with it, quite honestly. The "train catching" parts were totally my favorites in the movie.
