thankyou Most people frown when i tell them im photographing magpies, like they're vermin. I take them at face value and
appreciate them for what they really are, just beautiful birds.

Same here. I have never really understood the hatred some people show against magpies. And crows and jackdaws, too.

HHMMM its ignorance really when you listen to them, thats what makes it sad. Im the same im a huge fan of the whole corvid
family.

yes those wonderfull piercing eyes and the grey mmask beautifull birds. i must put some time in on them again.

I've always had this weird thought in my mind, that if cats were birds, they'd be jackdaws .
I'm looking forward to seeing some more jackdaw-pics from you .

I can see where ya coming from for me cats remind me of Owls, the eyes and how cool and confident they both are.
hopefully im going to be shooting more Jackdaws this year, i've not covered them as much as the other Corvids.
especially flying shots. i aim to put that right.
