Description
As it turns out, I am in fact not yet done with being INVADER ZIM TRASH

So as part of my continuing redesigns for that one AU idea me and have been tinkering with for the last few weeks (prior redesigns being found here , here and here ) I now present the latest (and arguably greatest so far) addition to the cast: INVADER TAK

seriously, best gril/10 except for maybe Gaz who is best gril otherwise fite me scrubs

But yeah, design wise, I wanted something to really capture her fierce, angry nature in the AU...well okay granted she's kinda like that canonically, but after certain events , she's now even more pissed off than usual...plus I really wanted a counter to Zim's massive, smashing heavy armor look and brute force, which is why I went down a more stabby stabby ultra flexible looking route for Tak.

...also because I finally got to work in design influences from one of my favorite mecha chicks of all time, ten points to whoever recognizes it. (hint, the pic name is a clue)

What was even more interesting was that while I was working on this, I found myself asking various questions through the design phase, such as 'what would Irken biology be like', and before I knew it I was compiling a whole headcanon of form and function for the whole race. I blame my hardcore scifi and actual science background, but HOLY HELL I AM WAY DOWN IN THE DUMPSTER.

SERIOUSLY THE LAST TIME I GOT INVESTED IN ALIEN DESIGNS AND SO ON I WAS IN FREAKING MASS EFFECT

Anyway, basically I stuck to the idea that Irkens get more slender and spindly as they mature (SO NO HYPERSEXED BUSTY SPACE BIMBOS FOR JOO, sorry guys ) with narrow waists, and exaggerated proportions here and there. Key among these is their weird spines, which I'm pretty sure the Tallest have basically confirmed to be ridiculously flexible. I figure as a result of all of that, Tak here has a relatively modest upper body, narrow waist and flaring hips for better stability and inhuman flexibility.

Which is good because her PAK claws are now twice as mean as a normal PAK, plus she has discovered the only good thing about the dirtball called earth: High heels.

Mostly because A)all Irkens have a height complex and therefore anything that increase that height is GENIUS and also B) kicking and stomping on things is now even more satisfying (just ask , this idea was her fault 8D)

I think I had some other idea about her antenna, like, Irkens treat them like we would hair, right down to curling and/or straightening them etc.

EITHER WAY THIS WHOLE THING TOOK A WEEK AND A HALF TO DO JUST TO GET THE POSING RIGHT

AND I AM ABSURDLY PROUD OF HOW IT CAME OUT
