Hi everyone! I hope you're all well! ❤
This creation is made entirely from polymer clay with a touch of acrylic paint, just to highlight the depth and dimension of the many sakura trees. I also used acrylic paint to give that "snow-capped" effect. The "lake" is loosely based on Lake Yamanaka, one of the five Fuji lakes in Japan. It has beautiful views of Mt. Fuji and is often depicted in artworks surrounded by sakura trees with Mt. Fuji standing proudly in the centre background.

After baking, the lake's colour came out darker than expected, so I touched it up with some lighter acrylic paint. I tried not to be too precise or perfect with the brush strokes as I wanted to give the illusion that the water was being whipped up by the wind. After all, there's nothing quite like sakura blossom rain! 😍
