So, this comes with a story. I was seriously bored....and alone at home which was a little creepy. So to keep my mind off the creepy I started to work on these while I chatted with a friend, THANKS REBEL!These started out....well....REALLY REALLY bad. The box was so musty I thought I was going to pass out from the fumes. They had a few burn marks on them etc. Anyhow, been saving clock gears from all those all German clocks that Tom has been giving me and am putting them into some nifty stuff. This is one of those nifty things.
The lenses on these ones are green the strap around the back is leather and was being a pain when I was cutting it. I riveted the leather straps as well which you can't see in this pic but I may provide another picture of just the straps because the rivets are pretty damn cool.
The interior of them I lined with a bamboo cotton padding and brown velvet with just a little bit of satin on the edges. There is a little crank on the other side to wind the chain up and pull the magnifying glass out of the way. I also included a little fashionable hook on the side to hand the magnifying glass on. The glass and chain can also be disconnected if you don't want them with the goggles.
The big bonus, you can see through these really well and the little magnifying glass really works with these which is soooooo cool.
So they are comfortable and functional.

I may have to do that. The goggles i think would be somthing people would really like them. I am working on a pair right now in fact but I need a couple more tools to finish them since I am doing custom glass lenses.

I have been collecting resources and tools for years...I am finally to a point where I can go to a craft store and say I don't need anything cause I already have it. YAY! No I just need space to put it all in lmao

when i move out of my parents i will try and do that, cause i love just about anything. I like to design clothes, design jewelry, im a carpenter, id love to learn metal work.

These look awesome, and the magnifying glass is a really neat touch, too
Though I was just curious, do the gears on the right lens get in the way of the wearer's field of vision at all?

You would be surprised but they don't. Because they are so close to the eye and the spaces in between them are so wide you see right through them so they never block your vision.

It is weird being alone. When dad still worked, mom would go out to lunch with her friends and I'd be home alone. I rarely left my room because there was no real reason to aside from nature calling and food.

There's only one place I feel uncomfortable at in my house at night. In the dinning room at the head of the table. I always feel something glaring at me from that spot.

possibly. We've heard babies crying in that spot more than once, when absolutely no babies were around. We've had some other things happen as well. If it's too offensive I'll ignore it, but I hear religious jokes from several people.
