Okay now I feel like I need to get it in gear... I'm not satisfied with the first one I am working on now. I like how some parts of the wood add texture to the painting.

they are not very complex pieces. I am able to complete one in a couple of hours and I'm happy with the results. Actually I really like painting on the wood. I may retire the canvas.
