My oh-so cute Ken Ichijoji and my Digimon OC, Sabina Yamamoto are supposed to be in the Dark Ocean realm....and I must say....I'm very pleased w/ how it came out
It actually looks like the Dark Ocean Why is Sabina grey?? Well....for one thing.....the Dark Ocean makes everything look lighter.......plus she's on the verge of death
Making this pic was fun.....but it's so sad!
Why do I always do this to my OCs???! WHY?!

the dark ocean is some place that will be also in our fanfiction. Arukenimon will be there, and one of our enemies will be the one living in the dark ocean.
ever heard of the Cthulhu-mythos? This is where the makers of Digimon got their idea from.

yes, totally really. I have asked it in a group chat with fellow digimon fans who are fanfiction writers, and one girl called Julie had told me that the dark ocean and the master of the dark ocean, Dragomon, is inspired from Cthulhu, the being who lives in the dark ocean in the mythos. Cthulhu's followers are beings which are described are fish like beings... who looks alot like Divermon from the descriptions. Which means that Dragomon, and Divermon were both inspired from the Cthulhu-mythos, or otherwise they wouldn't fit the descriptions about the beings so well.
