I would love to see this finished! (But I can't talk, as I'm guilty of never being able to finish a piece in oils..) Great use of colours and texture!

thanks and i was actually thinking about starting up on this one again, but its been a while so its completely dry and i'd hate to accidentally paint over some of the areas i like. ahhhh, sometimes oils are annoying for that reason haha

You're welcome! I understand your hesitation completely - I often worry about ruining traditional paintings by trying to finish them (for me I think it's a consequence of working mostly digitally, where mistakes can be undone, which doesn't work with real media). But I think you should just take a deep breathe and paint That's the only way to get anything complete.

I think the colors and the form are excellent. It's finished whenever you say it is. 8)
