Earlier in the year, Cinnamon had decided to give Belle an aging potion, and to leave her with the choice on if/when to use it. Talori had been a dangerous environment for a tenderfoot, but at the same time she hated to rob her daughter of her childhood. After discussing it with Krein and Dawson, the family ultimately chose the middle ground of giving Belle the item and letting her decide.

Belle's been hanging onto the potion since then, considering her options. Happiness with her friends and the fear of changing so much had originally kept her from taking the drink... but things have changed since then.

She's ready to grow up.
