was kind enough to comission a gambit piece from me a while ago and i'm finally getting it up on DA. this actually wound up being a lot of fun. the ragin' cajun is a ton of fun to draw, and this gave me a chance to look up how artists have handled him over the years. character copyright marvel etc etcnotice this, marvel!

I must have missed this in my galavanting the past few weeks, but I really love this piece for similar reasons I liked your character design. I feel like this was a step towards what you're doing now with the new pieces. The pink is so out of character for you, but it works very well with the beige and browns of the background. Really makes him poP!

Gambit is one of my favorite X-Men characters, yet he is so underrated at the same time! A lot of people are mostly fans of Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops... Gambit always deserves more love, and you gave it to him. Lovely job!

Indeed! It frustrated me when he wasn't in any of the first three X-Men movies, and when they finally put him in the new one, his role was minor. It made me sad.
Oh well, we Gambit fans just gotta keep giving him love.

Same here. I'm trying to look for the Gambit-focused comics, but I'm afraid I didn't seen any of them at Artifex Comics earlier today. They say it's super rare (and probably expensive)...
