Race: ElfAge: (Human Equivalent) 19
Hair: Brownish Blonde
Eyes: Green
Devon is an elven sniper, the son of the elven Royal Warden. Since he was a child he has never been seen without his bow.
Devon has a good sense of humor, a broad smile and a look of confidence. His genuine mirth sometimes gives way to a smirk that says "You've got to be kidding me." This attitude comes from his archery talent. He can flip a coin in the air, and put two arrows in it before it hits the ground.

Drawing Devon seemed like hardly any work at all! Maybe I have a thing for cocky characters. (Or maybe he's just similar enough to Yuki that I didn't have to put much thought into his character attitude XD ). Since he gave me so little trouble, I took some time to play with colors and highlights. The creator enjoyed the effect enough that we agreed to keep it.
To draw a bow like that, the guy must have the strength to wrestle bulls to the ground. I hope the textures in his tunic, bow, and vest help to keep things from looking too dull and flat.

I have to admit that this one is my favorite. I absolutely love the little textures and his jacket/vest is very well done. The Dual Quiver idea is very well executed, and you can tell that he prefers archery.
Also, I really like how the hair turned out. He looks Bishounen (SP?) without looking effeminate, which is something I think is rare among male elves in the fantasy genre. Or, male elves in many genres.
And the bow keeps looking cooler every time I look at it.

It's the WACOM 9x12. I work very large, also, and Open Canvas is a big help in keeping all the colors soft and creamy.
