Since he is rolling right along with the RWBY hype train. I am saying he could be making his own more militaristic school. With more uniformed weapons to make training everyone more efficient. I meanΒ Beacon is okay but the mass amount of weapons and the mass amount of different functions one person could put into their blade or hammer compared to another? I could see the more base weapons aka the two he have done so far the sword and the dagger being stander year one through three maybe training. Then you go to specialization training.
Because with this one you have CQC and small arms. The sword you have a assault rifle, a sword, and then a machete. Again CQC but the main use of that one could be the mid to short range. The last form could just be a utility form for stander outdoor survival .
So I see this school if he goes thought route being much more efficient and a lot more militaristic. More structured and the like since it would have mass produced standered aka first through third year training weapons. To give everyone the same base to work from. Then you get into the more customized or specialized weapons. Allowing them to be able to have fall back weapons or even be able to take up another weapon in case their weapon is broken or damaged in combat.

I could have sworn I replied to this some time ago. Apparently not.
The designs themselves were just a fun little "what if" project, but it recently got me thinking more about transformable weapons and the like. RWBY type weapons have been the recurring theme in my head as of late, with a few actually showing some promise. The knife and sword though actually do have some basic headcanon to them, but the weapons themselves I need to refine a little more as well as create one more weapon. After that I'll have a much more detailed idea of their backstories and the like.

Quite. Guns (which for better or worse seems to be all I do) are fairly straightforward in their operation, and therefore, easier to create. Having a gun that also functions as a sword, spear or anything else for that matter proves to be an interesting task. So while waiting for RWBY season 3 to kick up, I think I'll be spending my time with more RWBY-type weapons rather than my universe stuff.

I do hope I am right. Would be nice to see a school that focuses on more self control and efficiency then Beacon. I mean I understand that they are young. But for fuck sakes they are going into life threatening situations.. They are given missions to defend and clean out hives. They are tasked with protecting the people. Why the hell the laid back attitude towards training or the lack of discipline is allowed I can't understand. I mean for fuck sakes they even let biggots into the school. I know not everyone is going to get alone but even if you don't like someone you respect them and do no purposely try to harm them. Which has happened in Beacon. If it was treated as a true military like they claim they are 'raising' hunters and huntresses to protect the people. Doesn;t that mean that they should stamp out bigotry ?Β because if a hunter/huntress is racist against a human or were person.. whats stopping them from letting a grim kill them?
Thats not even getting started on the asinine they are trained and tested.
