This comes very, very close to a comic I saw in The Argyle Sweater in my Borders.com newsletter. Still funny, though.

Thanks for making us aware of this! We certainly don't intend to use anyone else's ideas!

No worries. I really didn't want to come across like I was accusing you of anything. I just saw it and was like, "I've seen one like this before..." I really enjoy your work and hope you keep producing.

I wanna know who it was that one say decided he hated his donkey so much... He decidedyo make a replica of said donkey out of paper, and have kids hit it with a stick, until his sweet guts spilled out upon the floor, and a tiny horde of children savagely fought over said guts... It's kinda sick if you think about it.

That being said I like the expression on the pinata thats not in the bed. Keep it up and one of these days some one might publish you or something!

wellit's more in depth than that... but basically yes.

The pinata is the symbolism of the brutal beating of a very stubborn mule... which in it's self was symbolism for the man's mother-in-law.

The man became so frustrated with his mule not listening and non-stop braying that he strung it up by the neck and had small children beat it with canes until the mule's sides split open, to reveal that a mules is actually stuffed with yummy candy. Or at least thats what I just made up anyway...
