Megumi is a character that appears in Crash Team Racing and its remake, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. She is a female bandicoot part of the Nitro Squad, responsible for handing out prizes to Neo Cortex, N. Gin, and N. Tropy in Crash Team Racing. She returns as a playable character in Nitro-Fueled, portrayed as being bubbly and excitable and speaking with a Japanese accent, suggesting she's from Japan.

Although little of her character is explored, Megumi's most visible trait is her unrestrained sense of excitement, which clashes with her otherwise courteous personality. Out of all the Nitro Squad members, Megumi is the least aggressive, and seems solely focused on enjoying herself and her friends rather than claiming victory. Unlike the rest of the Nitro Squad members, Megumi doesn't take losing too seriously as she doesn't care about her loss and can be seen clapping and congratulating the winner on the winning podium. She is also the only character who shows good sportmanship whenever she loses on the winning podium except for Geary.

She is also a bit clumsy, unlike the other Nitro Squad members in their space suits, as she is the only one who shoots her laser gun without any skill or safety, unleashing a huge beam at a random direction instead.

Megumi is a lab assistant in the Sanctuary's Labs, assisting Flamel and Azazel in their researches. She knows of the powers of crystals and gems from her dimension and brought the Master Crystal and the six Colored Gems from her home dimension. They are currently analyzed to see if there's similarity with the crystals that makes the different Philosopher's Stone.

Her wholesome attitude makes her very appreciated by people, especially when she competes in different tournaments organized by the Sanctuary. Many people wants her to be their waifu but... they would have to compete with Izmia.... because she loves Megumi very much... for reasons she keeps to herself. Megumi often visit Izmia's Private Office... for unknown reasons... I have no further datas to explain this.
