I'M BACK! Did you miss me? ^^

Alright then, it's been...quite a while since I've posted any coloring works whether it be on my own or color commissions...and by a while I mean more than 2 months...yeah I guess this needs an explanation. To make a long story short, the reason why I haven't posted any color commissions was not because a lack of work as I've gotten plenty of color commissions to work on so thanks to those who have been commissioning me this summer. But the main reason why was because of a lack of variety when it comes to the pictures as before I went on a break, there have been only 2 space themed pictures and only 1 normal picture, everything else was a water themed picture whether it be wetsuit, underwater or scuba gear, doesn't exactly fit with my posting methods of trying to vary the subjects and trying to please all types of people, mainly to the ones that enjoy my coloring regardless of subject. So I figured I take a break from posting pictures in the hopes to not only get more pictures on my stock pile but as well as grantee that I would get different types of pictures to help spread the subjects of my gallery a bit...

GUESS WHAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!

Again, got plenty of work over the summer in terms of Color Commissions, it's just that literally all the pictures that I've gotten to color in the summer are watered them as counting all the pictures that I have in sta.sh, I STILL have only 2 space themed pictures and only 1 normal picture that I've completed months ago and everything else is whoops all water. I know I'm basically the water guy around here and you guys love to commission me all the water pictures in the world which again I do fully appreciate but sheesh guys would it kill you to have a bit more variety in terms of line art for me to color?

So yeah I'm kind of in a odd position on how to figure out how to drain *HA* all these water themed commissions that I have as much as I want to post different themed pictures it would take about 20 color commissions to do so and none of them could be water themed...so...I hope you like water themed pictures because the next 20 color commissions that I'm going to post are going to be nothing but that. I am both sorry and not sorry at the same time

But right now I don't even have a color commission to show you yet but instead a color collab, the first time I've done something like this which is Tails in LAMA gear, first time we see him in it in a long time as we go to the second reason why it took me so long to post anything as if you know me, I tend to go big when I return from a posting and being Sonic Colors Ultimate is literally coming out tomorrow (expect for those who got the digital version) I figured that this picture would be the first one and to be released around the same time as Sonic Colors Ultimate as it would of been the game I would be streaming tomorrow...

Keyword being would

As I'm sure a lot of you are aware the port of the Nintendo Switch version is...well...busted doesn't even began to describe it as if I get unlucky, chances are the game would literally hurt people who are watching if I streamed it. And yes I heard that this issue is only present on the Switch as the other consoles like the PS4 doesn't have too much issues? I don't know but I don't want to risk it if that's the case. Especially how I prefer Sonic games on the Switch, after everything that has happened, it killed my excitement for the game. And remember, this is the picture that I was going to celebrate the release with, a very broken port...well at least I can stream the original game and it would be a proper celebration of the Wii version still existing but talk about souring my contribution to the Sonic series...

Gotten off subject again ANYWAYS! Let's talk about the picture itself as it's a standard LAMA picture with Tails underwater, something that you haven't seen before but what you haven't seen before in my gallery is the artist himself as Evgnm was the one that draw this picture...still don't know how to pronounce his name But we met up a couple months ago when I saw one of his picture and we talked about different things and we have a lot in common, mainly that we are both fans of the Sonic series and that we like different types of suits like spacesuits and LAMA gear. That got us thinking and we decided to work together on a picture with him drawing and me coloring and the best one to start off with is LAMA Tails as Tails is one of his favorites and to get some practice on the diving gear as this is the first time he has drawn it. Granted it does kind of show especially with some of the changes made but then again it was two months ago when he first drawn it and since then he has gotten a lot better in drawing both in general and in the LAMA gear as you can see in his gallery But again, minor hindsight, can't exactly be avoided. As for the changes, the major one is actually the LAMA gear size which is pretty huge compared to the other Sonic LAMA gear pictures but then again this one makes a bit more sense as it's big enough to fully fit the head in compared to the others where their big heads manages to fit in despite the collar being small. So it makes sense here, but there are easily improvements to be bad but not bad for the first time drawing this.

Granted nothing to much to talk about in terms of coloring even though that I had to redo the bubble helmet as I couldn't fit in the helmet effect properly. Only difference is the colors on Tails's wetsuit and gear as the first time I color the wetsuit and gear based on a reference of a AoStH cartoon where they dive but the colors won't work well for this gear so I had to change them up a bit to fit him better...and I'll admit I stole the colors from Sapphire's colored version of LAMA Tails as it does fit him well at least in this version

Came out pretty well overall, but there are some improvements that could of been made. It would of been nice to get another picture like this with improved gear and wetsuits for Sonic characters as plenty of time has paced between when Evgnm drew this picture and now. Maybe in the future

And finally big shout outs to Evgnm for doing this color collab with him. If you guys are interested, he opened commissions and they are pretty cheap so if you want him to draw something, you can pay him to do so. Who knows, maybe you can order a line art from him and ask me to do a color commission with it *wink wink BLINK* but hey just saying

So it's nice to be back and I'll try to post two color commissions a week.
