Lal'c from Diebuster. One of my favourite characters of all time. Trying out a completely new technique for colouring with this one so it took me aaaaages. I quite like the results though.Related content

This is such a dynamic picture!! I love the pose and colors--together, they really make the whole picture pop out at you. One of my favorite things is the way you mixed hard and soft shading here; it looks fantastic.
I like the stylized anatomy, it's a great style and I would definitely explore it further. I think my biggest critique is that the facial expression is a bit too masculine for a female character. I think it's a combination of the lack of lip definition and the harsh expression. If you could soften that up, her face would gel with her body a lot better. Just as a personal preference, I would place with the hard and soft shading a bit more to make them blend together even better than you already have.
Keep up the great work! You're well on your way to developing a great personal style.

Haha i was kinda playing around with the motion blur there, i got the idea from a short animation film called Kong fu cooking girls, it has a really cool style where the colors literally pop out of the linework when the characters move.
