Description
This was inspired by the grey herons I saw when I was in Amsterdam as well as my older pen drawings.I remembered that art does not need to be perfect to be enjoyable. Go figure!

Ooh herons, so beautiful and elegant looking. You did a great job at depicting that here. Theres a blue heron that visits our creek every now and then. Its so amazing to see them in flight :3

Your very welcome! Our creek has recently become a huge wildlife spot. A huge family of crows lives in the massive trees on the other side and they come into our yard from time to time. Its so cool. As well as an old dead tree becoming a sorta roost for a crap ton of vultures (perfect halloweenish imagery there :3). Too many other less common birds to mention as well lol. I love the bunnies and groundhogs the best

Herons are beautiful birds; and I really like your depiction of one here. Lovely penwork and semi-realism. Just can't stop staring at the face and swirls in the feathers. Splendid.
