Description
One who tramples darkness to create bolts of light.----------------------------------------
Creative title - I know xD
This is my half of a trade with the very talented artist *kodriak of her demon stag/elk Daigo. [pronouced Day-go] The lightning was a lot of fun to do, even though I'm not that great at it yet xD
Fyi: Daigo doesn't have hooves or anything, his 'feet' are actually consisted of 'strings' of darkness - and if you tilt your monitor or lean to the side a bit you should be able to see them
And I know the antlers are off, so no need to point that out - I've already killed myself over that fact XDUhm, enjoy! :D

Hmm where do I start..
Bottom up.
That grass is texturey beyond amazement. Hell, you did wonderfully on that. The little shinies on them add so much. The grass looks so reeeal.

My stag is sure showing his more demonic side here! I love it, he looks so threatening. His pose really tells what he's thinking.
Antlers are really hard, I can never get them to look symmetrical or even. But you did fine here, I particularly like how you did the tips so nice and glowy. Speaking of glowy..
His markings and eyes look so cool in their radiating blue glory! I especially like how the lightning marks on his face turned out, very cool.
I like the spiky fur on his back and how you edged it with blue. I'm glad you did that because I think if there was no colour dividing the dark fur from the dark clouds behind it would blend in too well, the glowing fur is the perfect partition.
Oooh how I wish I could see some clouds like that in real life! So stormy and threatening! Frightening and powerful! And the lightning! Lightning is a major win for me. <3
For the overall image, I love how you didn't put him smackdab in the middle. Centered just seems too...cultivated and lacks creativity.A little off to the side seems more real, and with the lightning behind him it balances it out a bit.

I'm glad you liked that, 'cause I wasn't sure how high up on his back the stripes went but I figured the glow from them would hit his fur and reflect off of that in a 'very convenient manner'
Are you kidding? I think the way you draw clouds is much more convincing - and I love how you aren't afraid to draw lightning bolts in every which way! x)
