Description
The airship Project 38FX522Z, yet to be given an actual name, docked at the Military Aviation Research base.

While nearly twenty percent larger than modern air cruisers, the experimental vessel requires greater lift assistance than it's production counterparts due to engineers pushing the number of guns carried in both main and secondary batteries. The ship has also been designed with a larger number of elevators to double as dynamic lift wings, prototype engines, and X formation control surfaces.

While the new engines have shown promise, the considerable weight of the vessel has proven to limit range and carrying capacity of nearly everything. The X shaped tail, which was hoped to streamline control surface design, has also proven less than adequate in combat speed maneuvers.

The Design Board has been requested to go back over the designs, with the ship scheduled for lengthy air-dock time at the nearby Naval Construction Division yards to implement various changes.
