I think I'm finally in the groove again...Done because my last attempt at Sandra was terrible...
For those unaware, Sandra was a pretty important character in my PMD fan fic. Unlike most characters, however, I have been able to expand on her and she actually is a major RP character I use, where she hits on just about everybody... Almost no one likes her for this. Of course, that pleases me because that means I'm doing a good job. Sandra truly is the most *ahem* "colourful" character of my little group and, perhaps, the most developed.
I've got a deep backstory all planned out that I plan on using in a future fic (yes, she will be returning...be afraid!!) that explains her lust for pain and strong fighters. I'm looking forward to writing it.
As for the image itself, I think I did alright. I love how I did the face, but the body could use some work... Mainly, it looks too small. I'm also disappointed in my shading. It was clearly a rushed job.
Nevertheless, it looks better than most of my images since I switched back to this method and using a touch pad mouse. I'm improving slowly...

Perhaps you wanted it this way, but Sandra's look has me worried a bit. Looks like she's planning something... Anyway, I believe I may have said this before, but I can't stress how cool I think it is to see that you're back at it. As for the work itself, considering that it looks like you're trying to regain your edge, I think it's rather good. Just keep at it, and things will be fine.

I've heard a lot about that, actually. Not here, but at a forum I visit (has a few NSider stragglers).
Anyhow, I've now edited the eye a bit so it looks a bit better. Does this help?

Better, yes. Fixed? No.
Imagine where her target is. Both eyes should be oriented to be looking at that object. The way it is now her eyes do not work together.

Hrmm, I see... I'll try to keep that in mind for the next time I try this out... Right now, however, since I didn't save a backup of the layers before I shrunk it, it's going to make things just too difficult and I'd need to start this all over again...

It's actually a Weavile, which is the evolved form of Sneasel.
Guess you learn something new all the time, huh? I appreciate the kind words. It was a lot of fun designing this character, and I don't mean that from a drawing standpoint.

Actually, now that you mention it, I never knew really you did other fan-fics aside from your PMD comics. So in a sense, absolutely.
