They look like they're stoned, you know, just a little. Maybe they haven't slept in a long time after fighting all that evil 'n stuff.

Its the eyes, the realistic eyes make them look really mature, especially in Goku, his body may not but the eyes make him look a lot older and smarter..... Gee... Goku smart!? O_o;
