Description
Ludvig is kinda struggling with the whole adult thing, from his immune system is struggling to keep itself together, to his lack of magic making him feel alienated from other Wyngrew and the world at large. He doesn’t really want to talk about it, though, instead opting to act like everything’s fine and struggling to lead a normal life. He’s facing some emotional turmoil with his condition and jealousy with his family’s magic, but he tries really hard to hide it. A deep part of him that he doesn’t want to admit blames his mom for his condition, being that she was supposedly cursed with her beast claws and that Dixon died in her home after the deelaplague, he wonders if some of her curse wore off onto him. He can’t talk about this with her though, he knows it would break her heart.
He doesn’t have a job in the hatchery quite yet, but he hangs around pretty often, though wynlings will often see him sneaking off without his mom’s knowledge.

Shanti is Ludvig’s older sister, though Ludvig considers himself the big sibling now that he’s grown. She’s always been very supportive of him, and Ludvig loves her a lot.
Eglantine:
Now that Eglantine’s hatched, Ludvig’s got mixed feelings that he’s very guilty for. Eglantine isn’t bright, thank Chii, but Ludvig can’t help but be jealous that she can not only learn magic, but excels at it, using intermediate magic as just a wynling! Ludvig’s never going to be able to use that level of magic, and Eglantine’s just born with it?? But.. it’s not her fault he’s sick. He loves his baby sister, and wants her to be happy.
Shiitaki:
Shiitaki doesn’t have any magic yet, but she’s clearly healthy. Of all his siblings, Ludvig feels like he can relate most with her, even though she’s a weirdo that only really talks about bugs and plants.
Lettuce: Ludvig’s sibling closest in age to him, he grew up with the green wyngro, and he’s got some particular emotions about it. Lettuce has a natural talent with wind magic, and it bothers him quite a bit that she was born so soon after him and completely fine, and full of magic. He loves her still and tries to swallow his jealousy, but it’s hard sometimes when she seems to brag about it constantly

CHARACTER INTERACTIONS
Meeting new Wyngrew: Awkward and shy, has a tendency to lie about what he can and can’t do and to avoid the subject of his manafew (Ex. “Oh, I’m not sick, see? I have a tail, I just have weird coloring and get nosebleeds sometimes”)
Meeting new species: Ludvig doesn’t really care about what species somebody is, considering he grew up with a Finn. As long as they aren’t snobby about it, Ludvig couldn’t care less.
Being surprised: Too much excitement can trigger Ludvig’s manafew symptoms, leading him to have panic attacks or migraines and nausea, which makes him defensive and cranky.
Being touched: Ludvig doesn’t mind it as long as it’s somebody he knows. He shows affection pretty physically.
Actions when sad: Ludvig has a tendency to lash out and alienate himself when he’s upset, usually getting defensive before locking himself in his room.
Likes: Floaty fruit, rough housing, plants, cool bugs, being outside, soup, warm drinks, defying expectations
Dislikes: being sick, rainy days, Warptide, being fussed over, needing help, being surprised, people acknowledging his manafew.
