Has Led a Resistance against the Flood and Covenant in the same time!
Jumped out from orbit and took only one scratch on his armor. Twice.
And lastly, saved humanity and the whole galaxy 3 times.

If you think about it, this is extremely unrealistic:
- Gordon Freeman: scientist, billion dollar hazard suit, no military training
- Master chief: war veteran, billion dollar advanced armor, has been trained since he was a young kid
gordon would be hard to kill with his hazard suit, but if it comes to fighting master chief would win.
After all, Gordon is a scientist

Yes, because Gordon Freeman can take on a 7 foot man in armor that has shields, weighs about a ton, and whose owner can lift a car, fall from space and live, beat up and killed three military men at age 14, and has much more advanced technology and weapons. Seems legit.

Whenever you ask someone what FPS revolutionized the industry, they always seem to say one of three titles: Either Doom, GoldenEye or Halo. To that, I say "No way, Jose! Not even close!" It's Half-Life by landslide. It's like gravity pulls you to the Earth, water quenches your thirst and videogames are a pure form of art: There's not even any point in debating it.
I didn't see any of those other wannabes getting over 50 Game of the Year awards!

Personally I think half-Life is a better game than Halo, but if the situation ever occurred, Master Chief would beat Gordon Freeman. Gordon doesn't even have a helmet :/ Chief would just chop his head off with the energy sword and end it within a matter of seconds.

Certainly it's interesting, though both have unique qualities. You can't beat people to death with ANY gun in Half-Life, and to be honest, the protaganists of both series have about as much characterization as a block of wood. Gordon has less because he never speaks. Still, You can't kill people with anything lying around in Halo, or set people on fire or any number of features found in Half-Life.

I could look at this two ways. Either character vs character or game vs game.
Character: I'm sorry but Gordon Freemen wouldn't stand a chance against ANY of the Spartans, let alone John. Any of them could get past him and break him without even using a gun. The Spartans see everything in slow motion compared to normal Humans, so Gordon wouldn't be able to react in time.
Game: Now this is a personal opinion, but I just could never get into Half-Life. it just didn't interest me. Halo sucked me in though. Specifically the story.
