This shot was taken in Barcelona's Zoo (Spain) three months ago, with a Nikon D40 and 18-105mm.It was a trip I had planned for a lot of time, and I stayed in Barcelona a whole weekend (a entire day only to visit the Zoo).
In February, it gets dark very early, and it had be 6 o'clock or 7 of the evening at this moment. I knew that I would have to go away soon, because in the night the light was not going to be good to do photos to animals, so I was useful to take some photos to the zebras. They are very graceful and sweet!

Great work - stumbled upon your page again and was immediately drawn to this shot only to find I had already added it to my favorites. The lighting is beautiful, maybe a bit surreal but I think it adds to the shot. The zebra's positioning is fantastic - great timing!

This is such an amazing shot. The colors are beautiful, the lighting is excellent - and it's so crisp! More importantly, it shows how much animals are capable of love. It's silly to think they aren't, and your photo definitely shows that they do!
