How amazing was it seeing them live? I've only ever saw their live concerts on DVD, and I know that doesn't compare at all to seeing a live concert. I wish I could see them live.

yeah ive had seen a lot of live DVDs before that concert too, but maan it really wasnt even comperable.

Me too! I was in Ville de Québec while they were playing there with Slayer, but I had no idea they were playing since I don't follow tours. (There's normally no concerts even close to where I live, so I don't bother to even check out tour dates). But I did get to see Iron Maiden, which was amazing.
