I made this lil wolf pup for an trade. I sure hope *QueenofNightmares likes it!!

A maned wolf? What ever is a maned wolf? Google it! Dey arrr soooo ca-uuuute!!!

It is one of the animals that my partner for this ArtCrossing Trade happens to like. She said so in her profile. I read the list of things she liked and was excited that some of my favorite animals also made her list. She likes hedgehogs...horses...maned wolves....tha what? I love wolves, but I was unfamiliar with MANED wolves. TO THE GOOGLE!!!

They basically look like a fox on stilts. And they are super cute and really great to crochet. After some research with my two favorite resources (Google and The Big Book of Mammals by National Geographic), I felt that I was capable of doing this creatures an homage via la crochet.
