She is a minor character from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I did have trouble drawing her hair in this, so that's the reason why the texture might look a bit strange but I was happy with it. Everything is usually explained on my Tumblr posts. I'm no Chinese expert, so my translating isn't the best. This was the only result I could find for her name: "June" 朱恩 without it translating to the name of the month which is "Liù Yuè".

Even though it's hard to tell, I put detail in her eye as I did with my Princess Azula picture. I used a cracked earth texture with ferns. She isn't well known but her ethnicity is believed to be Earth Kingdom, where she is mostly found.

I really wanted to draw this character, because there isn't enough of her. She is my most favourite minor character to appear in the series and she's such badass! She's not a bender, but she can still beat up men who are much bigger than her, while not even spilling her tea. She can also beat them at arm wrestling, she calls her Shirshu companion (Nyla) "Snuffly Wuffly" and uses a whip as a weapon. XD My kind of perfect dream woman... LOL!
