I like how the tail kinda wraps aroud the fore-front of the composition. Gives it a really good look. That's what first drawed my eyes.

Oh wow! O.O Makes me want to go out and buy a bunch of pastels....this is really beautiful. I love the contrast between the horse and the background, and how it sorta looks like the horse is snorting out ashes. Great job!
