'Scuttle away' is a very good term for how Asylum was probably moving just then XD I know it's silly to compliment one on one's word choices and phrasing in a comment, but I'm word and phrase-obsessed, so I'm gonna do it anyway.

Yeah, I know what you mean... It's sorta nerve-wracking if you make a joke and then the person doesn't respond, right? Like you wonder if it sounded weird or something... Just so you know, I sometimes have a hard time picking up on that stuff myself, so if I respond seriously to something that was a joke, it was probably just me and my tendency to take everything seriously
