one question though, whenever i colour there is this whit line that always comes up like this [link]

There are different ways to solve this. One would be to increase the tolerance of the bucket too.
Select the Paint Bucket Tool and on top now you have its options. One would say "Tolerance" where you can enter a number. Its probably set to a low number now. Try to set 100 or even 200. (0-255 possible)

All Element versions do not have the Pen Tool
