Fullview suggested^^After more then a half a year a realistic piccie after lots of cartoony stuff. I put A LOT of effort in it. Tested out several digital painting techniques as well. The wing shadows seem not to be correct but that was pretty hard to get. At least I'm content with the color selection.
This image is a actually a gift/free comish for my good friend Morghus, who helped a lot with dragonadopters (The game is on his server at the moment)

If you don't mind some critique on this (ignore me if you don't want it) If you're going for realism I'd suggest being a bit more subtle with the details. XD While it's awesome that you did put all the time into making all the individual scales (and laying them out beautifully, I might add) they look somewhat over exaggerated if you can see them all.
irl, details like that are often lost to highlights and shadows more. [link] [link]

Das Schuppenwerk ist echt phantastisch und die FlΓΌgel sind doch gut. Das einzige was ich gemacht hΓ€tte wΓ€ren grΓΆssere HinterfΓΌsse, die scheinen mir etwas zu klein und vielleicht eine deutlichere "Trennung" zwischen Hals und Rumpf. Aber das ist nur meine Meinung und das Bild ist ja auch so super
