the gorillaz!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh how I love them!This is 2-D, Murdoc, Russel and Noodle.
the backgrounds are from various music clips:
2-Ds background from 'clint eastwood'
Murdocs from 'Feels good inc'
Russels from 'dirty harry'
Noodles from 'el Manana'

First I sketched them on paper after studying the gorillaz style. The penciled them lightly onto the white canvas shoe and then applied watered down acrylic paint to colour it in. And finally did the line art (only after it dried completely) With fabric makers and a finish off waterproof shoe spray x2 coats. foreground characters are grey tones and background are in blues. Hope this helped

well they where comished by a friend and even since this pair I haven't found the black shoes that I like printing on.. so I haven't made anymore..
that's ok tho I'm sure they will come back one day.

well i did a light pencil out line first. then aplyed watered down acrylic paints and once that dried I when over the lines with a black fabric maker

well thats the thing. i havent washed a pair and i havent got them wet either.. I did put one of those water proofer sprays on them. but i dont know how far that would go..
