Description Danu or Ana is the mother Goddess of the Irish, Who finds Her roots in a very old mother Goddess of the Continental Celts Who left traces of Her name in rivers such as the Danube. In Ireland She is the mother of the Tuatha De Danann, which means 'the People of the Goddess Danu'; They are the old Gods of the land, Whose number include Manannan, Lug, Brigid, Boand, and the Morrigan. Her Welsh equivalent is Don.

In time the Tuatha De Danann became the fairies or people of the mounds in Irish legend; I show Danu here in that aspect, as mother of the fairies and the green and growing things of the wild. The leaves of the rowan, especially sacred to the fairy folk, are shown in Her hair.

There should be a link for a print on the original art page.  Are you on mobile?  I know that deviantArt can have issues with that.  Try it from a desktop computer and see if that helps.
