Yeah, yeah... as it seems that I actually get something for my money (like the site actually *works* properly... or at least closer to what it *should* be doing), I am having trouble supporting them. After the whole °jark vs $spyed situation, I'm hesitant in actually committing money to them. Not sure why, it just bothers me right now.
I'll get over it, I guess.

i wasn't following that whole debacle very closely. but spyed seemed like the bad guy since there was a whole 'support jark' thing going on.
but that was quite some time ago...and i mean, as long as you get the service you pay for, office politics shouldn't really matter right

I think it actually spanned more than simple office politics. And yes, the whole "support °jark " thing was, and is going on... but looking at both sides, the view I came away with bothered me on both sides. The deeper I dug, the more swamp I found.
There's an old Cowboy saying: "Once ya find yerself in a hole, the first thing ya ought to do is stop diggin'."
We'll see how long I last without the nifty thumbnails and such.

what was the issue about anyway? was it a power and money struggle?
i wasn't really following. my only contribution towards the whole affair was in the form of a yello deviation on Yellow Day (at least I think that's what it was called) and I wasn't even sure what I was supporting jark for, I was more excited at the idea of joining in the community spirit. haha.
*throws you a rope so you can haul yourself out*
p.s. i'll take time to get back to that long comment you left. it needs thinking. and i have an exam on friday for which i need to concentrate on first.
