Description
The mission was a complete failure.
Tempest Shadow was tasked with leading the Storm King's army of monsters to capture the Princesses of Equestria, all in order to steal their magic to power her leader's staff. But what she didn't count on was just how formidable the four Princesses were when they combined their respective abilities and battle tactics to ward off Tempest's soldiers. And combined with the might of the Royal Guard and the other five Elements of Harmony, Tempest stood no chance. Plus, the Spirit of Chaos turning all her airships into cheese sculptures really didn't help matters.
Once the short-lived invasion ended, Tempest was quickly defeated and taken into custody. After being interrogated for a few hours, Tempest reluctantly divulged her story of how she joined the Storm King in the slim hopes that he could restore her lost magic with the Staff of Sacanas. Princesses Celestia and Luna soon vowed to restore Tempest's magic if she told them everything she knew about her mad leader's plans: seeing very few options, Tempest agreed to the monarchs' demands.
Although Tempest's information proved invaluable, she was kept in captivity until the immediate crisis was over and the Princesses could arrange her trial for high treason against her home nation.
For now, however, Equestria still had a war to win.

--I'll be honest... I'm not a huge fan of the 2017 MLP Movie, mostly because of how the Mane 6 were portrayed in it. However, I really do like the Storm King and Tempest Shadow for their potential as characters.
