I like the way this road leads my eyes into the distance! It makes the landscape feel very, very big.

Hei, the road looks just as silvery as the clouds! The bright band and the slight decent draw me in, I'd love to coast down there on a bike. (But not to pedal up to get there in the first place ;]) Beautiful landscape!

Thank you. Apparently people who bike across Canada find this area to be the toughest stretch, even more difficult than the Rockies. There's a few hundred miles of hills like this.

Haha, well this highway is nothing but hills like this for about 600+ km. Apparently there are people who bike across the country and make it through here in just a few days.

nice shot! But I think a higher aperture would give your shot a lot more depth.
For me it is missing here more depth!

Greetings!

I'm not sure the aperture is really an issue with this shot. I've had no trouble getting everything in focus at wider angles at f/5.6, and the original shot looks fine at full size. I think perhaps the horizon may have gone a bit soft when I combined exposures in post-processing.

I would love to be on that road right now ..instead of watching the clock move closer to work time!.. Beautiful

Haha, I wouldn't like to be on that road right now. Parts of it got washed out during a storm last week, and now it's raining pretty good again.
