Description I didn't exactly want to post this on here, but it went over quite well on Tumblr... So here's the start of my anatomy studies.

First, I'll start by drawing the muscles and familiarizing myself while simultaneously studying skeletal structures. Soon, I'll move on to facial anatomy (after the lower torso and legs) and study how the muscles connect and move all over the body. I also intend to do some in-depth facial and abdominal muscular studies. Once I know how everything is arranged inside, I'll start drawing from life.

So that's the gameplan. My sketchbook will be my diary, and I'll post entries occasionally. ENTRoPY will be on hiatus until I feel comfortable enough to continue.

I tried to sign up for anatomy and physiology for my science class this year, but the councilors were really solid against me doing so for some reason. I was pretty disappointed, but at least my family has anatomy books. It didn't require any prerequisites or anything... angry mumble...

Thanks so much, guys. I love you all.

Haha, thank you! My mom has said the same thing. I have to say, though, I don't really agree.

Well, thanks. I think hands are somewhat easier for me because they don't have a whole tone of hidden muscles and stuff (like most other parts on the body)... I dunno. Thanks!

Just remember what the Great Stan Lee once said.
You don't need to memorize EVERY single muscle in the body, just the ones on the outside.
However you seem to be doing that, already XD
Also that foot is really good.

I want to know how they shape under the skin so I don't end up screwing up the outside anatomy, and I figure "Hey might as well draw a bunch hurka durka"
Also, so I can figure out what shapes the muscles make. Shapes are great.
Thanks!

I, um, definitely share with you the feeling of a need to improve. Probably a good idea to hit the books like you're doing here. :[

But no, it seriously looks nice. I'd love to see more, maybe it'll inspire me to do some studying of my own.

Totally awesome~ It's really cool to know that you can draw more realistic-y stuff to, and that you're trying to learn from said realistic-y- uhh... ness. Or something o-o

YAY ANATOMY STUDY~ 8D

Sometimes I think my realism stuff is better than everything else. Which actually makes sense, and is a really good thing, now that I think about it.
Thanks!

AW YEAHHHH

INDEED IT IS. Being good at realism certainly is not a bad thing.

Love these! I probably should work on anatomy as well.

I really like how you drew the muscles.

Thank you! I highly recommend it. Not only do you get to see how all of the organs and muscles are shaped, but also how they move. It helps when drawing from life and developing your own style.
Or, so I'd imagine.

Thank you!
