Description Ootani Atsushi and Koizumi Risa from the anime Lovely Complex! Kyaa! >.< I loved this anime sooo gosh darn much, guys! Definitely one of my favourite shoujos! And I love the fact that they both have such an awesome sense of STYLE!  I used a reference drawing for this (as always!) but I changed some parts of it (like Ootani's shirt, which now has the logo for Lovely Complex on it!) They are SUCH a cute couple! >///< I kind of wanted to show their height difference in this too (Ootani is such a little ickle diddy little dude! XD -And yes, I said little twice!) but when I attempted to adjust their heights, it failed so miserably!
...
Well, anyway! I hope you guys like it! ^^ (And sorry if Ootani's face looks a tad creepy and stuff   I am a bit out of practice due to being attacked by school work for SO GOSH DARN long!   ;D)
Aaaand, if anyone is interested, I used watercolours for most of it (: (You have no idea how long it took me to get the right colours for their hair and skin! OTL) And some rip-off copic marker thingimajigs (no idea what they're called!) for some of the clothing!
ENJOY!

Beautiful. Those slight color differences in the hair and on the shirts are nice. Normally i don't want to bring up critical points, because i know i wouldn't be nearly as good as you with watercolors, but i think her eyelashes are a bit too thick and also the lineart of her lips. But as i said wouldn't be able to do it better, only worse.
(Aaaand i don't know that anime - shoujo isn't a genre for me XD ... at the moment i more like creepy stuff - reading Stephen King's Carrie)
Also, ... YEAH Finally something new of you. I hope the school work isn't killing all your free time.

Thank you so much for the awesome comment!! XD And I totally agree with you on your critiques! With the eyelashes I was planning on painting them the same colour as the hair, but I accidentally used black instead so they look a lot thicker than they're meant to be, like the lips! XD Thanks again for pointing it out! ^^ I shall definitely try to improve it! ;D And wow! You're reading Stephen King?!  >.< I haven't read Carrie yet, but I've heard it's AWESOME! And I think I've more surprised myself about the fact that I've gotten into watching shoujo, XD seeing as, like you, I am the type that prefers the creepy, more horrific genres! But whenever I find the free time to watch anime, I always find myself watching the shoujos! XD (Though in the long run, I have to say I still enjoy watching the thriller-type anime more!  ;D Like Elfen Lied, Higurashi and Steins; Gate etc.!) XD
And I'm really sorry it's been so long! I've had to concentrate on my revision and studies and all that >< so I couldn't be on dA as much as I'd have liked! (which, for the record, would have been ALL THE TIME!) XD I MISSED EVERYONE SO MUCH!  ;D But, now that all of my homework and that has died down a bit, I can be online more!

Picking the wrong color is so annoying. It's long time ago since i draw with watercolors but i can still remember the rage
But the lips of the male are well done.
It's not like i dislike romance, or some classic slice of life in stories, for example Sanka Rea and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia (well both are still some kind of horror: zombies - evil ghosts) but those overfilled stories are tooooooo much
Elfen Lied was fun watching once, but i didn't really liked it. I was bored after some time, because the gore was taking the lead over the story. I preferred Deadman Wonderland. In the end it became pretty weird but the story never vanished behind the gore.
Carrie is well-written, it's the first book of King i'm reading. I need to hurry and finish it, because i've seen our library got short horror stories of King written in English. I began reading Creepypasta-Stories so i thought it would be good to read some stuff of the Master of the written Horror
Studying is more important so, i hope everything went as wished.
It's great to hear from you again.

XD Yes, there is always a lot of rage to be raged when painting!  ;D And thanks! I actually took so long doing the guys lips! (they failed SO. MANY. TIMES. Cheeses, who would have thought that these small things matter SO. DARN. MUCH!)    Soooooo, I'm glad they look okay! XD And I get what you mean about the romantic and slice of life anime, sometimes they're just a bit too much!  Too predictable is the part I dislike the most about them the majority of the time. BUT STILL! I find myself watching and enjoying them anyway! Ooooooh! Have you read the manga for Deadman Wonderland?!  I watched the anime first (so awesome!!) and then read the manga and they missed out loads! I think that's probably why the ending was a bit weird! ;D (I tend to only really read the manga of an anime I've seen if I didn't really get the ending (a perfect example of this is the ending of Fruits Basket, so many things are left unsaid! Hate it when they do that! XD) (By the way <-- Fruits Basket, a shoujo that is definitely not predictable!)
Stephen King is so goddamn brilliant! He just writes in such a creepy thrilling way! (I always end up sleeping with the light on! )
And likewise! I'm glad to be back spouting nonsensical paragraphs with you again! ;D

I did exactly the same watching Deadman Wonderland. First Anime, then Manga. I thought there was missing a real ending in the anime so i began to read the manga, and was hoping for something like happening in Soul Eater. The part after the ending of the Deadman Wonderland Anime was kinda like: "Hey, it's going on, we still got something for you. Prepare. Wait for it. Wait f~ - INSANE-OVERLOAD!" I was a bit shocked but after accepting the weird situations, i liked it a lot.
Especially the ending (SPOILER-ALERT) when Shiro opened her eyes again. Sooooo awesome! (END-SPOILER)
I guess i need to hurry reading stuff of Stephen King, just to be able to talk about his work with you. Up to the point where i stopped reading Carrie, it wasn't so shocking that i need to sleep with lights on. I need to admit this happened after reading well written Creepypasta Sories of Slenderman, Eyeless Jack and Laughing Jack. At the moment i'm just thinking - during reading Carrie - : crush them all, all those dumb girls and your mum too, come on she beats you, so raise your head and throw a table in her face.
But i guess there will come the moment where stop thinking this way, and start thinking: damn calm down. I'll see
Feels so good writing random stuff with you again
