Huh? I thought the Colonel was the victim. O_O Other than shooting "us" and the Detective, it looked like he was framed for everything. There were newspaper clippings about Damien's (the Mayor) past, one actually calling him a demon and something else about a mysterious disappearance of a celebrity. Damien has a dark past, one he probably shared with Mark, though we'll never know. I know the Colonel stole Celine from Mark and gleaned money off of him without his notice, but was Damien really the good guy?

If you didn't know, the Mayor's name is Damien and apparently Dark's real name. (???) I'm pretty sure someone a whole lot smarter than me can explain it. I just wanted to know what everyone thought.

Ohh mmm no so yes Mayor's name is Damien but Damien is not Darkiplier. Damien is part of Darkiplier but so is Celine, and Darkiplier's body is actually that of the DA's (aka the viewer). It's a complicated mess but Mark did explain things quite well, though still some things are a bit of a mystery I suppose or more like unclear but there's a pretty good general idea on what's going on.

I mean, go for it. I'm not into Markiplier lore or anything - bibliophile Felix and other edge lords are more of my thing, nowadays - so I won't be able to understand the parallels. But, any parody of that great SNL parody should be a good one.
