Here is a WIP of my D. Gray-man Fanart. It's incredibly messy still and there's a lot of work to do. Have noooo idea what to do for the BG so it's likely to be quiet lame. Lumpy rock is lumpy But hopefully I will get a better, less lumpy rock for them to be standing/sitting on... some sort of clifftop thingy... meh. I'm rushing like mad to get it done so I can get prints in time for Sac-Anime.

It's so frustrating because I worked on a lot of details but it won't come out on the print as they're too small and/or I screwed it up w/ my craptastic coloring.

Re: color scheme... I took some liberties and mixed & matched the anime and manga. The designs are based on the manga. But the actual colors (Kanda's blue hair & Lavi's scarf which is technically orange in some references but red in others...) are based on the anime, specifically the 2010 calendar colors. The hilt for Kanda's sword is supposed to be purple in that but I went with the red cause...well yeah. With Lavi's scarf particlarly, I made it a dark orange so it's closer to the red since so many cosplayers use red for his scarf... but it's orange in the calendars.
