for the contest fav.me/da7u4h1 by WaxSeaShells and its about drawing her oc Aphrodite( the one with pink hair) and we could draw her other oc jane( the red hair one) and she is brazilian and i wanted to draw them in a brazilian tipical thing and in june here there are parties called festa junina that are religious and for the saits peter and John and others and there are lots of dancing this are the tipical kind of dress and most people dance quadrinha in couples but there is no ploblem to dance with your best friend too.. hope you like it!!i do comissions fav.me/da1iloh

I think this is a charming piece. It's traditional, honest and is a good representation for Brazilian culture. There's no way you can look at this and not say it embraces its own culture. The poses and dresses have detail and well-defined shapes. The dresses look like they're naturally flowing to the characters' motions. Also, I'm not sure what it is about surrounding the picture in a white circular border that I like. You could've colored the whole page, but having the border shows more organization and helps the picture stand out. Unfprtunately, even with the border, the drawing still doesn't stand out that much. I realize how hard it is to show colored pencil online, but the color just seems too faint, soft, and not that well-defined. The characters blend in with the background too much. Maybe more focus on the character outlines will help distinguish them more. Also, the pencil strokes are too messy and leave the paper with scratches. You should work on a more consistent stroke pattern. One more thing, the girl on the left seems pretty off to me. Her left arm is very 2-dimensional and seeing it hook around the other girl's arm makes it look like it's bent backwards. Both her legs are facing the side when they should both have an angle, slightly facing forward, to match the rest of the body. Also, the girls head and face are too flat and lifeless, plus she's missing her ears. The girl on the right has more emotion to her face though. Other than all that, it looks elegant and colorful.

Ata, mas de qualquer jeito ficou muito lindo! A única "crítica" que eu tenho é que os personagens parecem parte do fundo, tente usar um pouco de sombreamento
(Sério? Eu só encontrei dois, e um deles era de Portugal e tava só visitando, mas prazer em conhecer também.)

maybe add a little more shading to the characters so they stand out a little more from the background. Otherwise really nice drawing, i love the colors you used and the dresses look amazing . Vary nice design
