I wonder if being a mother of diseases makes Loviatar the Finnish mythology version of Loki the father/mother of monsters.

I have been reading a few books of Finnish mythology and in those, it says that northern wind or Pohjantuuli was very dangerous because it brought both diseases and ill-luck.

I wonder how Maiden of the north reacted when seeing her brothers for the first time.
Oh, BTW do you have any theories about the tenth son of Luovitar who was unnamed because he was the worst.

I found a pretty interesting poem/spell for healing fly and pain disorder.
Päästä tästä pälkähästä, Mene tuonne kunne käsken,
kivusta kovaosaisen. rinteile rosokivien,
Poista pisto pyytäjästä, kipuvuorille kapua.
säryn salli seisahtua, Kivut kirvoita kulohon,
kivun kirvelyn kadota. pistot mustille majoille,
Kipu kuule käskijääsi: kipuvuoren kukkuroille,
mene tuonne kunne käsken, hautaan harmajan kivikon.
mene tuule teitä myöten Vie kipuni paaden alle,
notkoile noroperille, louhikkoon lymyämähän,
soille soutamattomille, mätänemään mättään alle.
ettet löydä mistä lähdit.

Yes, it's a variation of the banishments (manaukset), I actually have a picture inspired by Pain Mountain (Kipuvuori) and Pain Girl (Kiputyttö):

Nice. I just wonder where do the pain and other stuff end up after being taken to Pain Mountain. Like do they end up in Tuonela or to some other places?.
