Teratophoneus — Deinocheirus mirificus

Description Deinocheirus is a supposed ornithomimosaurs from asia and is the biggestof them. It is estimated to have been 10-12 metres long. Its arms are 2,5 metres long and carried huge 25 cm long claws. Deinocheirus means terrible hand and is a true giant. Here you see it feeding on some termites.

Well, I've got to say that this is certainly unique...
First, you portray Deinocheirus as an anteater of sorts, then you barely show one of its arms! This is great!

ok immaturity asside. this is an awesome concept interesting how something so big is shown eating tiny things. then again it isn't so wierd since whales do the same.

Baleen whales bite small chunks off of vast krill swarms, which aren't protected by hardened earth. Not really the same.

Alvarezsaurids are much more probable as "anteaters". That said, nice drawing, and doesn't hurt to think outside the box.

well its more they open their mouths and suck them in like a vaccum. fish do that too; hmm so yea that was kinda a bad comparrison

though if krill did live in a hard area (like condenced shell parts or dead corals, or live), i think the whales could be capable enough to whack away the hard surface with their tails to get the krill; though if that was the case, big whales would probly be quite dangerous and less the gentle giants as we know them now XP
