Stephen Strange was a famous surgeon that after a car accident that left his hands almost paralyzed, traveled to Kamataj in order to find a cure. He then learned about the mystic properties of the universe thanks to The Ancient One and after her demise, Strange took the role as Sorcerer Supreme in New York.
